Leaf Print Refresh Service Extend the Enjoyment of your Eco Refashion with a Color or Eco Print Refresh Service, Indigo Overdye, On Tone

First I want to thank you for making a conscious choice to refresh your garment, golden effort in closing the loop and moving forward with sustainable alternatives.
I construct eco-refashions to last more than one life, evenso an bi seasonal refresh will keep your garment vibrant and on tone. An occasional re-fresh adds character while extending the enjoyment of your well loved garment. Leaf Print refresh outcomes are serendipitous and often begin darker than the original birth. As such I cannot guarantee custom requests in refresh outcomes suggesting the overall appearance will be more muted and the printed motif more abstract. Note, with continued wash and wear each refresh gradually mellows to a beautiful opaque past lives layered motif. I also offer indigo over dye and indigo refresh service during the seasons May through September. The same holds with continued wash and wear of your indigo refresh, outcomes begin much darker mellowing to opaque layering of past lives.
My approach to plant-based pigment is primarily a direct surface contact interaction, with considerations the natural materials will respond like skin or hair. For instance, that bit of last years tan mellowed over winter, with a little exposure ta-da tan again. But wait, yes the sun also brightens, with that tan comes natures expertise at highlighting your hair. I often compare the garment surface to that of tree bark. The first pigment processing most likely swelled, lifted slightly and or roughed up the textile surface, in effect pigment molecules deposited/pushed up under the bark during this interaction (that is not exact science simply a narrative comparison). What I'm suggesting is that each refresh ages the tree bark , grooves become deeper, outermost bark becomes less dense and more absorbent, an overall weathered character begins to develop beyond the sapling's original smooth bark. OK?, another example, during first pigment processing all the chairs in the room are available for seating. New pigment enters the room, grabs a chair and makes a comfy home. With wash and wear (agitation, crunching, squashing and all those moves we do in our clothing) the surface dumps some of those pigment molecules out of their chairs. However, the chairs are still there, some of the pigment is wandering about while others are clinging by a thread, have no fear the textile surface has a perfect memory of the original seating arrangement the pigment simply needs a modest refresh. Each refresh gives first choice to original seating arrangement, helps residual pigment find it's seat and finally new chairs/bonds available along textile surface.
So Lets Talk About Your Custom Refresh Service:
We need to decide if you are in the mood for something new and exciting? Oh ok you just want a keep on tone with what you already love? Lets talk about this some more. Is your garment silk, cotton, linen, wool or blend (you don't know well that is ok we can figure that out). Third, you do know any refresh is going to shift darker, gradually releasing some of the refresh the first 5 or 6 washings. Don't hesitate you will love reminiscing with each wear, this would be a good time to reference the photos. Notice how extended wash and wear mellows to a gentle opaque layering of earlier prints mingled together in an all together unique new motif (you just can't make this stuff up). I cannot stress enough that I approach refresh application with no holds on outcome, I am very good with discerning materials at hand and giving caution to over saturation. Please note others may but I do not control the forces that be with synthetic modifiers or controlling with chemicals in my process. I work direct with hardwood leaves producing monochromatic brown to golden values, my only guarantee is with time your garment will be more beautifully patterned in abstract motifs and natural pigment pooling with each refresh.
Lets talk about the indigo over dye, notice how it alters the leaf print colors, typically unpredictable but always lovely. Oh, your garment is an indigo base and you want an indigo refresh, no problem that is doable. I do understand you like the indigo but want some more prints and a little warm brown or blacks to companion your overall tone , no problem we can work with that too. Indigo is a wandering pigment, a fugitive with no intention on staying forever none the less living the dream for the entire stay. Please note others may but I do not by strong alchemy command indigo to work any harder or faster than a natural fermentation with banana can produce. As such much my indigo refresh is light to medium blues, often I will do preliminary application in goldens to make greenish blues with an indigo overdye. One simply cannot exhaust the beauty of multiple indigo refresh applications, a typical refresh is once every 18 months to holding fast with eco prints for several years.
